No-Fault Insurance

Michigan’s no-fault insurance system requires all drivers to carry personal injury protection (PIP) coverage as part of their auto insurance policy. This coverage pays for reasonable medical expenses, lost wages, and other benefits for the policyholder and their household members in the event of an auto accident, regardless of who was at fault. The no-fault system aims to provide prompt compensation for injured parties without the need for lengthy litigation. However, in cases of severe injuries or wrongful death, victims may still pursue additional compensation through a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit against the at-fault party. The Joseph Dedvukaj Firm has extensive experience navigating Michigan’s no-fault laws and can help clients understand their rights and options, whether they need to file a PIP claim or pursue a premises liability, slip and fall, dog bite, or traumatic brain injury case stemming from an auto accident.
